Farm to Table Dinner at The Capital Hotel generates $2500 donation to CAFM operating fund. The generous donation makes it possible to proceed with the installation of the new wireless EBT and Debit/Credit Card processing equipment for the market. This will enable more families to participate in the Certified Arkansas Farmers Market who need fresh food in their diets. Once this is done, we will be one of the first markets in the state to adopt this new financial tool in our markets, thanks to a special initiative by the Department of Agriculture, DHS, and the USDA with our non-profit CAFM. We are expected to recieve a grant at a later date to pay for this equipemtent, but now that we have the funds we don't have to wait on the grant to be funded. Thanks Chef Lee and CH!
